Bruce Yeko, the founder of Footlight, became interested in Musicals while attending College in Milwaukee, and in 1962 he decided to move to New York to see every Broadway Musical. He saw Streisand in his first New York performance but missed five earlier. However, between 1966 and five years ago, He saw 10,000 Musicals. In 1970, he started selling rare Broadway LPs, and with the baker’s wife in 1976, he began making flop Musical Recordings. He took over Footlight’s website 15 years ago and has produced 124 cast records as well as a voice CD. He also provides 4500 CDs and DVDs on this website.
