Sex and the Village by Rebecca Applin and Susannah Pearse is a hilarious, heart-warming musical comedy packed with vibrant original songs that will make you laugh, cry and cheer.
It’s Vicar of Dibley meets Jam & Jerusalem – but they sing!
When the village of Chatterley is threatened with annihilation by supermarket giant Tasdall’s it is up to the inhabitants to save their beloved community. Chloe, an aspiring writer, may have found a solution, but convincing the village won’t be easy, especially as old tensions resurface and everyone is just a bit too lovelorn to focus. Full of lively songs and loveable characters, Sex and the Village explores the ins and outs of village life and the universal desire to follow your heart…once you’ve worked out what your heart is telling you, that is.
